The G200 Program

Global business icons Thomas Edison, Henry Ford, and Harvey Firestone were close friends. Their friendship was critical to the success of their respective firms, as they inspired each other and offered a confidential sounding board.

In today’s fast-changing business world, it’s not sufficient for a company’s top leader alone to maintain a brain trust like this. The entire senior team also needs a powerful network-- as well as access to the right educational resources--at a time when the difference between success and super success is often one key idea or contact. The future success of a company depends on it.

There are 200 firms and their leaders that stand head and shoulders above the “average” senior teams.  These are the companies being invited to join the G200, so they can get to know each other and support each others’ success.

These companies often network with us informally.  In the G200, they will be able to do this more deliberately while tapping our entire educational offering.

Overview:

Focus: We will provide the your executive team with a YPO/EO-like experience, giving your key leaders an individual monthly forum experience without leaving their desks and top-notch monthly executive education and semi-annual face-to-face educational and forum events.

Goal: We will focus Gazelles’ educational initiatives and our personal energies on a small group of important companies in our global economy.

Value: We are looking for companies that want access to--and will utilize--our entire offering in return for highly personalized service.

Annual Benefits:

1. 8 seats between the 2 Summits. You can mix and match them the way you like– plus purchase additional seats at reduced rates if you wish to bring middle management. Your executive team will be included in private dinner events Tuesday evening at each Summit, mingling with CEOs, COOs, VPs of Sales/Marketing, and HR executives.

2. 9 monthly online seminars with top thought leaders. You’ll also get access to archived seminars. You can use them when and however you like, with as many managers and associates as you wish.  The idea is to show one at each monthly meeting between your quarterly planning sessions. Your team won’t want to miss them. Among our recent lineup: Greg Brenneman, Malcolm Gladwell and David Meerman Scott.

3. Monthly phone forums. Four executives at your firm will be able to join these 90-minute professionally moderated and confidential phone forums during 10 months of the year. CFOs will be in their own forum, COOs in theirs, and so on. We will focus purely on business issues. One of the eight participants will make a formal presentation on a business challenge and then receive shared experiences. The executives will host face-to-face forums at each two-day Summit during the other 2 months of the year. We will set aside 90 minutes during the two-day program (Day 1, 3pm – 4:30pm). The Summits will act as mini-forum retreats where the executives can meet with the peers they’ve gotten to know over the phone.

4. Focused resource. One point of contact will be assigned to interface with your team to handle all the “administrivia” that’s involved with an initiative like this, organizing the phone forums, interviews, participation in dinners, scheduling of webcasts, etc. This individual will be your one “go to” person for handling the details.

5. Customized service. We often field special requests from many of you – and we’ll oblige – bringing special guests to events, making exceptions for your team, providing special seating for or access to speakers, etc.

The investment is $25k/year for three years (That’s a mental commitment but the financial commitment is just one year) – or roughly $6k/exec/year for four key executives other than the CEO. That is a fraction of what EOers and YPOers spend on themselves for participation in their organizations. However, many of the resources like the monthly online seminars, half-price discounts for Summit seats ($625/seat for additional attendees), and full access to our online courses (Topgrading, negotiations, etc) benefit the entire firm.
