1. Check In
With your 1 page strategic plan in hand, your meeting always starts with a "check in." Each individual team member lists their top three to five victories from the past quarter as well as a "brag" of one or more people on the team.
2. Core Values Health Check
The facilitator asks the team to share the company's core values (of course the core values are stored within Rhythm™ to view at anytime). Core values are the handful of rules you have for your company and represent your corporate "DNA". How do you know if they are intact? Have your team share stories about how they have lived the core values within the past year and record this in Rhythm™.
3. Quarterly Theme
Brainstorm as a team the items you will focus on for the upcoming quarter. Record your theme, how you'll measure success, and your celebration in Rhythm™.
4. Company Priorities
As a team, determine the top three to five priorities for the company and assign Red, Yellow, Green success criteria to each priority.
5. Individual Priorities
Each team member determines their individual priorities and metrics for the quarter and links them to a company priority. This creates alignment in the company and ensures that everyone is working on the RIGHT things.
6. Review Individual Priorities as Team
Each individual team member shares his/her priorities and the team helps to refine these priorities or identify ones that were missed.
7. Company Metrics
Determine the company's critical metrics and make sure a person has taken responsibility for each metric.
